COMPANY BACKGROUND
Alpine Environmental Inc. was founded in 1991 by Ron and Ed Peik to
bring sound technology and quality service to the field of residential
lead paint abatement. Both partners are engineers and understand the
complexity of this environmental issue. Our primary goals are not only
to ensure a safe and complete abatement, but also to leave our client
with an excellent final product.
The
residential lead abatement process typically involves stripping or replacing
interior and exterior woodwork and the restoration or replacement of
windows. We fully guarantee the workmanship on both stripping and carpentry.
Alpine has the in-house capability to reproduce virtually any moulding
or casing shape. We have completed over one thousand projects varying
from individual homes to apartment buildings, including many historical
restorations of Victorian and Colonial homes.
Since the founding of Alpine Environmental, Inc. over ten years ago,
we have established and maintained an outstanding record with our regulatory
agencies. Our work practices ensure strict adherence to local, state
and federal regulations. We guarantee our work both for lead compliance
and customer satisfaction, and also guarantee the property's re-occupancy
date.
We are fully licensed and certified with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Our company is insured for Worker's Compensation and we maintain General
Liability Coverage not only for normal hazards, but also for specific
lead liability.
Our professional staff which includes Licensed Builders and skilled
carpenters, will enable you to proceed with confidence whether your
need is simply a quality project to attain lead compliance or a full
scale historic building restoration.
RON
PEIK, President
Ron founded Alpine Environmental with his father in 1991. He
holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from
the University of Lowell, specializing in ventilation systems
for buildings and indoor air quality. Before entering the environmental
field, he worked for 2 years as an Engineer for the U.S. Air Force
in contract management, manufacturing and quality control. He
saw a need in the lead paint abatement field for a contractor
who could not only bring a project into "lead compliance,"
but to do so with high quality workmanship. His outside interests
include sailing, sports and activities with his 5 children.
